Being a good writer is a cheat code to extracting money into your bank account from thin air.
There’s only one problem. Most writing absolutely sucks. It’s boring. Dry. Rambling. Sleep inducing.
This is not just a local problem. Every country and every language is suffering from this writing epidemic.
Why? Well, school has failed us. And even after school, most never write, or practice writing at all. The only writing anyone ever does these days is texting.
But the ‘how’ is more important the ‘why.’ Specifically…
How to fix bad writing
I’m going to reveal to you the principles that make good writing. And best of all? We’ll do it in a non-boring way.
We’re gonna leave behind all the technicals of writing like ‘intransitive verb’ or a ‘demonstrative pronoun.’ We’ll leave that to the English teachers.
What we’re going to talk about is how to write words that sell.
Let’s get into it:
The Fastest Way To Get People To Read Your Stuff
Seduce someone into reading whatever you wrote. In your writing, that is…
Imagine you wrote the best article in the history of mankind, but it wouldn’t matter if the reader clicked off before you got to the point.
Or imagine a newspaper. That has lots of lines formatted tightly together. Dense. Seems never ending. You stare at that page covered from top to bottom with words.
And your brain goes: “yeeaahhh I ain’t reading all that”
Now notice the article you’re reading right now. Easier on the eye. Easily digestible isn’t it?
That’s because I make it easy to flow into. Short paragraphs. Short and easy to understand sentences. No waffling or unnecessary jargon.
Short Form Vs Long Form Content
So does that mean to make absolutely everything super short, and write like you’re talking to a toddler?
No.
But you do need to be mindful who your article, or your video script is for. And adjust your formatting accordingly.
All content is fundamentally the same. You need to hook the audience and make them want to read/watch more. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Much more coming.
